RUSS CONWAY is a practitioner of the art, too little seen in Canada and especially among sportswriters, of muck-raking investigative journalism. And there’s so much Eagleson muck to be raked. Eagleson wore at least four different hats while President of the National Hockey League Players Association [NHLPA]: union president, player agent, international hockey impresario, and close friend of NHL owners and management.
